Over the past few years Jo has been increasingly in demand as a workshop leader, particularly specialising in singing for health. She has led 'Singing for the Brain' sessions for the Alzheimer's Society and currently works for the Amersham & Wycombe branch of Parkinson's UK leading weekly vocal sessions to help people maintain and increase vocal strength, clarity, overall well-being and happiness. She has also led sessions for 'Fighting Fit' which is an organisation that supports working-age people living with Parkinson's.
In 2019 Joanne was a keynote speaker at the Annual Conference of the Assoc. of Teacher's of Singing (AOTOS) presenting a seminar about the benefits of Singing for Parkinson's.
